2001 I have been in the Fitness Industry of which my first 8 years were as a
personal trainer focusing on Corrective Exercise & Functional Training. It
was during this time that I realized that there was a lack of information and
understanding about proper stretching. Of course everyone did some form of
stretching but it was all based on what was taught decades ago before 2000. In
2009 I found my answer and it was at the Stretch to Win Institute here in
Arizona and it is called
Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a form of assisted stretching based
on science that was developed by Ann Frederick at ASU in the early 90’s. It took me 3 years to complete my training in
Fascial Stretch Therapy and to become a Level 3 Certified Flexibility Specialist.
In 2011 I was selected and trained by my mentors to become an instructor for the Stretch to Win Institute and since 2013 I have been a lead instructor at the school where I am currently teaching there one week out of every month.
When I'm not teaching FST at the Stretch to Win Institute, I am passionately working with my own private clientele base which is a mix of
professional & amateur athletes, business professionals and your everyday
hard working person.
